Breed information - History

The breed has been created for dog fights by combining Bulldogs with Terriers, after prohibiting the instigation Buldogs tied to the bulls and bears in the nineteenth-century England. At the beginning of the twentieth century (1935) breed has been accepted by the Kennel Club as a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. In 1975 the first Staffie was recorded with American Kennel Club, this was the import of English Champion Tinkinswood Imperial. Body
